New Changes for 2023
I am no longer using the Post Office Box 92 in Schwenksville, effective immediately. All Postal/FedEx/UPS mail can be sent to my attention at 300 Main St. Schwenksville, PA 19473. This will be updated on this year's tax bills. Also, you can now drop off your payments in the external mail slot at 300 Main St. (Boro Hall) pictured with a red arrow at any time, even outside of normal business hours. Payments MUST be in a sealed envelope addressed to my attention with your payment and a copy of your bill. My collection hours are posted on your tax bill and this website. I will only be there for collecting payments during posted hours.
Effective immediately, per Resolution 2023-03, any returned (bounced) checks will have a $30 service fee. You will receive a notice with instructions should this occur.
Finally, Montgomery County had a tax rate increase which will result in an overall 2.7% increase to your Borough/County Tax Bill. These bills will be mailed in March, 2023. Example: If you paid $1,000 in 2022, you will pay approx. $1,027 in 2023. Remember the Tax Collector has no control over tax rates. Tax rates are set by the Taxing Authorities. As a homeowner, I also have to pay the increase and also inform you of the increase.
