Due to damages sustained to Schwenksville Borough Hall & Community Center by Hurricane Ida, I am temporarily moving to the Perkiomen Valley Library at 290 2nd St. Schwenksville, PA 19473, effective immediately and until further notice. Please continue to send UPS/FedEx deliveries to 300 Main St.

My hours are posted on your tax bill and my website. I will only be there for collecting payments during posted hours.

DO NOT drop off payments at Boro Hall since I do not have a key to the mail box and the bldg is unoccupied.

DO NOT drop off payments at the Library. Please use the Post Office of pay on-line via my website. If you have any questions or concerns, call me at 610-613-4917, DO NOT call the Library for any tax related concerns.

MASKS ARE MANDATORY regardless of vaccination status per the Library's rules.

I must leave when the Library closes, so please do not show up with less than 15 minutes till closing. I must close my records and you will be turned away.

I, Thomas Laconis, as a PA Qualified Tax Collector and Elected Official as Schwenksville's Tax Collector, swear to support, obey and defend both federal and state constitutions and exercise the duties of this office with fidelity.

  • Appointed and Elected as Schwenksville Tax Collector for the 2020-21 Term

  • 17 yrs Self Employed Small Business Owner

  • Member of Montgomery County Tax Collectors' Association MCTCA

  • Qualified PA Tax Collector

Accomplishments while in Office

  • Created Evening and Saturday office hours to accommodate your work schedule

  • Improved communication via social media

  • Successfully lobbied to extend tax due dates to account for personal hardships that may have occurred during the Covid-19 Crisis in 2020

  • Launched the Schwenksville Tax Collector website

  • Enabled On-line tax payments

  • Believes in giving back to the community by volunteering time, services and giving personal donations to fund events in Schwenksville Borough
